Here we go again,

Do you feel it? You know… that sinking feeling that creeps in as the weekend starts to wind down and the thought of the approaching workweek starts to build up? The Sunday Night Blues (Sounds like a Blues band from the 70's)

Well, you're not alone. Many of us, especially us mums juggling careers, business building and family life, experience this all too often. But don’t worry mama, I got you!

Start by setting intentions for the week: Take a few minutes on Sunday evening to reflect on your goals and intentions for the upcoming week. This will allow you to start you week with a little more clarity and purpose (Helping release some of that Monday morning overwhelm).

Dial in on your evening routine: After you put the kids to bed, this is your time to be set yourself up for relaxation and readiness. Iron the clothes you need in the morning, make lunchboxes, ready school bags – then treat yourself to a bubble bath (distraction free! Yes Ma, put the phone on airplane mode – no need to check emails till tomorrow) cozy up with a good book or just spend time in the moment with your partner.

Plan, prioritise and organise: Reduce your Monday morning stress by planning ahead. Take some time on Sunday evening to look at the week, prioritise the important tasks, and create a plan. You want to feel like you know what’s going on – of course things are going to pop up unexpectedly but at least your have some idea of what’s going on.

Everyone raves about it – and that’s because it works – So, practice gratitude: Life is stressful – but having the ability to show gratitude for the little things will help you shift your perspective. Instead of saying ‘I have to …’ say ‘I get to …’ Remember the universe is working its magic for you – not to you. Learn to love the journey because you will never be right where you are again.

And my biggest tip – Set boundaries and disconnect: I mentioned it a little earlier – protecting your time and energy is the biggest asset you have. Resist the urge to check work emails or engage in work-related things on Sunday evening. Instead, dedicate this time to relaxation, family, and hobbies. You’re not getting paid to sit at home and work! You have a family and a business, and your time is more precious than almost anything else you own so, disconnect from work, and embrace quality time with the family.

Reframe Sundays to be an opportunity for a new start and plan to make It amazing. Jump on a discovery session with me today and lets design your roadmap to transform you week.
